The Parable of the Lost Coin.^{[a] 8} “Or again, what woman who has ten silver coins^[b] and loses one will not light a lamp and sweep the house, searching thoroughly until she finds it? ⁹ And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors and says to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I lost.’ ¹⁰ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
