The Parable of the Lost Coin.[a] “Or again, what woman who has ten silver coins[b] and loses one will not light a lamp and sweep the house, searching thoroughly until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors and says to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I lost.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
